Who we are
Shreesoftic is a software engineering studio based in Surat, India. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect
This is a static website. It does not set cookies and it does not ask you to create an account. We only receive personal data when you choose to send it to us through one of the forms below.
- Contact form: your name, work email, company (optional), what you need, a link to an app, repository or screen recording (optional), a budget range and a free-text message (optional). If you arrived through a tagged link, the form also sends the campaign source and campaign name from that link (utm_source and utm_campaign).
- Production readiness checklist request: your email address only.
- Self-check: the questions and score are handled entirely in your browser, and nothing is stored or sent. Only if you choose "Email me these results" do we receive your email address, your answers and your score.
- Email: if you write to us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
Analytics
If analytics is enabled on this site, we use Plausible. Plausible is cookieless and does not collect personal data. It gives us aggregated figures, such as page views, referring sites and whether a form was submitted, so we can see which pages are useful. It cannot be used to identify you.
Why we collect it
We use the data you send us to reply to your enquiry, to understand what you need, to prepare a quote or proposal, and to send you the checklist or self-check results you asked for. We use campaign source details to see which links bring useful enquiries.
We do not sell your data. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added. We do not use your data for automated decisions about you.
Our lawful basis
For visitors in the UK and the EU, we rely on the following lawful bases.
- Legitimate interests: to read and reply to enquiries sent through the contact form or by email, and to follow up on them. Replying to someone who has contacted us is a reasonable expectation, and we keep the data we use to a minimum.
- Consent: when you ask for the checklist PDF or for your self-check results by email. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
- Contract: if an enquiry becomes an engagement, we use your details to deliver the work we have agreed.
- Legal obligation: to keep records required by Indian tax and accounting law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it.
- Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within 24 months of our last contact with you.
- Checklist and self-check requests are deleted within 24 months, or sooner if you ask.
- Correspondence with clients is kept for the duration of the engagement, plus the period required by Indian tax and accounting law.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and handle your messages. They process data on our behalf and only for the purpose of providing their service to us.
- Form service: submissions are sent through a form-processing service, currently Web3Forms, which forwards them by email to contact@shreesoftic.com.
- Email provider: stores and delivers our email, including form submissions and replies.
- Analytics, if enabled: Plausible, which receives no personal data.
- Website host: serves the pages of this website and may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.
International transfers
Shreesoftic is based in India, so your data is processed in India. Some of our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the UK or the EU, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, where they are required.
Some links on this site open WhatsApp. If you contact us that way, your message is handled by WhatsApp and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, as well as by this one once it reaches us.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU, you have rights under UK GDPR and GDPR. You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access)
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete (rectification)
- delete your data (erasure)
- limit how we use your data (restriction)
- stop using your data where we rely on legitimate interests (objection)
- give you your data in a portable format (portability)
- stop using your data where we rely on consent (withdraw consent)
How to use your rights
Email contact@shreesoftic.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK, or to the supervisory authority in your country in the EU.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way the site works changes, for example if we change a service provider. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
